Level 2 (60-minutes w/ tab booklet) the second beginner lesson of the Complete Guitar Lessons: This covers some basic tricks likehammer-ons, slide, trill, octaves, and bending notes. You'll quickly learn to play leads and chord progressions. Learn to create licks, the building blocks of leads. Play songs and jam along with bass & drum rhythm tracks. There's a chord chart with 32 of the most important chords in rock. Bridge adjustments are explained to make your guitar easier to play. The motivation part of this lesson explains how to play naturally.

Level 3 (60-minutes w/ tab booklet) an intermediate guitar lesson picks up where Level 2 left off: This lesson covers vibrato techniques, fretboard tapping, string muting, harmonics and pedal tones. Speed exercises are also taughtalong with how to compose leads. Chord progressions from blues to metal are covered. These progressions feature bass and drum rhythm tracks for you to play along. Stereo effect processors are also demonstrated and explained. Techniques for copying/transcribing songs and leads from recordings are also covered. There's even information on how to form a band.

Level 4 (60-minutes w/ tab booklet) is an intermediate guitar lesson and picks up where Level 3 left off: This one starts off with a few tricks like ghost bends, random harmonics, gliss pick, tremolo picking, ostinato, Hendrix style octaves, and infinite sustain.Then, sequences & patterns are covered. Plus, several vibrato bar techniques are explained.

The Theory section introduces the Aeolian mode, chord formulas and diminished licks. The motivation section teaches how to set and attain goals

Level 5 (60-minutes w/tab booklet): Everything you need to know about theory to be a good player is included in this guitar lesson. People get bogged down trying to learn too much of the technical stuff about playing and lose sight of the music. This is what you need to know and nothing more. If you've been playing a few years, can play well but still don't understand scales, modes and progressions, this lesson was written with you in mind. Level 5 will quickly teach what you've been missing. The chord scales and formulas explain how to match chord progressions to lead modes. The equipment section deals with guitar truss rod adjustments. If your guitar always sounds out of tune, this may be the intonation adjustment you've been missing.

Level 6 (60-minutes w/tab booklet): If you have an earlier version of the course, which divided the lessons up into Metal Gear, Primer, Progressions, Tricks, Licks and Theory, you'll find that this DVD covers material not taught in the original course. It primarily deals with techniques like sweep & circular picking, Yngwie style six string sweep arpeggios, and three notes to a string speed triplets.

There are also two leads analyzed & taught with bass and drum tracks included. Harmonic, melodic, and diminished minor scales are covered. The equipment section explains adjusting bridge intonation. The motivation section explains how to impress an audience.
